Message: Steve and Family, I am aware of the time that has past for your loss. I was thinking about Steve and the fun trips he took us on to the soap box derby hill to play with his dog. all the times we sat on the porch and listened to him play his guitar. And of course the Sundays at the church. Steve and family, I am sorry for your loss. I know that the children have a wonderful father. You will all be in my prayers. Nick Stecyk. Miller ave

Message: We enjoyed knowing Cheryl over the years: her faith, her love, her authentic personality and openness. We miss her very much and can't imagine what it must be for the five of you. However, God has provided you with helpers and loved ones along with his constant presence to sustain you. While the memory of your wife and mother will always be with you, God's new joys will also fill you and lift you up.
In Christ's love, John & Carol

Name: Dan Jessen (one of Cheryl's professors at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary) & Nancy Jessen
From: Pineville (Charlotte), North Carolina
Message: Cheryl: diligence, dedication, a joy to know and have around, smiling and cheerful -- she was the kind of student every professor delights to have as his acquaintance and co-learner. She worked hard at her academics and every other task before her. She asked questions freely and accepted answers with grace. I know she was a blessing not only to her family but to many others, including myself. I was pleased to have her as a friend. She will be greatly missed in this world by all who knew her.

Message: Where does one begin to honor someone who lived life to the fullest, and, yet her journey has just begun. With a grateful heart I write these words both spoken and unspoken. What a joy to have known Cheryl Kuchta Clifford a friend for many years. I had the honor of serving communion at Cheryl and Steve's wedding at this church and I still remember the dress I wore. To see the lovely Cheryl walking down the isle in her pill box hat and tea length dress was a sight to behold. It was just a very humid day and there was an imprint on the back of Steve's white tuxedo from the church pew. Then there was the reception, just like today, in Collins Hall where everyone could mingle and talk and enjoy the music. Oh yes, and Don and I were on a cruise and I went back to our cabin and turned on the TV and there was Cheryl, my friend, who had just given birth to Robert, Paul, Heidi and Ruth. I could not believe what I was seeing or hearing and ran out of the room and just had to share it with some other people right in the middle of the Caribbean. Those were the fun things that came to mind when I thought of Cheryl, but then there is the deep side of this wonderful woman and these words come to mind: giftedness, gentleness, compassion and a deep love of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To meet cheryl was to love Cheryl. May fond memories sustain you all and may the love of our Lord enfold you and bring you comfort in the days and years ahead. In Him and for Him.
